City of Decatur
A walkable square, a genuine downtown, and porch culture that has not been manufactured.
Druid Hills
Olmsted-planned parkland, deep lots and long-standing homes, next door to Emory.
Candler Park
Bungalows, a public golf course in the middle of it, and a genuinely mixed, settled crowd.
Virginia-Highland
The intown walkable standard — restaurants and shops at the corner, bungalows behind them.
Kirkwood
A historic street grid that has turned over steadily, with more room per dollar than its neighbours.
Oakhurst
Decatur's southwest village — its own small commercial strip, quieter than the square.
